💥 Critical Hits Overhauled

Crits Now Grant 2x Ore Critical hits on the mine node were purely visual — the flash and sound played, but you got the same ore as a normal click. Crits now deal 2x ore damage. They’re also rarer now (~1 in 40 clicks) to keep them feeling impactful.

New Crit Visual Replaced the ugly flashing square with an expanding golden ring and spark rays. Much cleaner.


🔧 Bug Fixes

Crown Forge Crash (v0.1.2 + v0.1.3) Fixed a game-breaking freeze during the hammer phase and a crash during the green zone quench phase of the Forge the Crown mini-game. Internal animations are now properly tracked and cleaned up across all phases.

Resource Converter Worker Cap (v0.1.2) The Resource Converter room is now capped at 10 workers. Previously, unlimited workers could be assigned, scaling conversion efficiency far beyond intended levels.

Ancestral Knowledge Exploit (v0.1.3) Deep Cavern events were awarding flat Ancestral Knowledge that didn’t scale with prestige level, allowing players to accumulate massive AK far too quickly. AK rewards now scale like other premium rewards.

Depth Cost Reduction — Trade Post (v0.1.3) The Clockwork Guild trade upgrade that reduces depth costs wasn’t resetting properly after Ascension, causing the discount to silently break. Fixed.

A welcome popup now appears on launch to set expectations — we’re a small dev team, and resource rates, prestige scaling, room costs, and overall balance are all actively being tuned. If something feels off, it’s on our radar.

Dismiss with “I Understand” or click “Don’t Show Again” to hide it permanently. Re-enable anytime in Settings → Gameplay.
