Mithril & Mud launches into Steam Early Access on March 11th, 2026. We’ve been working on this for a long time, and we’re excited to finally have a date to share.

What’s in the Launch Build

The Early Access launch will include the full core experience:

  • 20+ depths of mining progression with scaling challenges
  • 12 specialized rooms — Surveyor, Lumber Mill, Engineering Hall, Smelter, Resource Converter, Runic Workshop, Trade Post, Beast Den, Gemcutter, Worker Barracks, Shrine of the Deep, and Dark Forge
  • 7 resource types feeding into interconnected production chains
  • Prestige and Ascension meta-progression systems
  • Skill tree with meaningful permanent upgrades
  • Trade system with nations, caravans, mercenaries, and embargo protection
  • Automation — auto-pickaxe, auto-workers, auto-resource conversion, and more
  • Expeditions, daily quests, and challenges for daily engagement
  • Beast abilities, artifacts, gems, runestones, relics, and mythic upgrades
  • Steam Cloud saves and achievements
